Accessibility Features

Built-In Accessibility Features

The following accessibility features are implemented across the JDN Assessment Certifications website:

A “Skip to main content” link appears at the top of every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation.

Logical Heading Structure

All pages use a logical H1–H6 heading hierarchy to assist screen reader users in navigating content.

Alt Text for Images

All meaningful images have descriptive alt text. Decorative images have empty alt attributes to be ignored by screen readers.

4.5:1 Colour Contrast

All text and interactive elements meet the minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio required by WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Focus indicators are visible throughout the website.

Accessible Forms

All form fields have explicit labels, error messages identify the field in error, and instructions are provided where needed.

Responsive Design

The website adapts to all screen sizes from mobile (320px) to large desktop displays without horizontal scrolling.

ARIA Landmarks

ARIA landmark roles (main, nav, header, footer) are used throughout to enable efficient navigation by assistive technologies.

Text Resize Support

Text can be resized up to 200% using browser controls or our toolbar without loss of functionality or content overlap.

Hindi Language Option

Key pages are available in Hindi. The language selector in the top strip changes the interface language for eligible pages.

No Auto-Play Media

No audio or video content on our website plays automatically. All media has user-controlled playback.
